Perhaps most people in this world have drifted from their primary purpose and mission in life. The truth is, they don’t have everything and keeping up with Joneses isn’t going to bring joy. Hence, we are not being sustained by His grace and are working merely with fleshly strength. The enemy would love for all of us to put programs before people, because at the end of the day the only thing we will take with us into eternity are people not programs, real estate, money or the material things in life. When we don't prioritize our time, our activities will not match our purpose. The enemy does not come in a red suit with a pitchfork; he comes as an angel of light. In addition, we give Satan the opportunity to dominate every aspect of our lives, and to hold us captive as long as he can, so that we can lose everything that God has in store for us. Our sinful attitudes literally quench the Holy Spirit. Those in continual frustration need to take much time reflecting to detect the source of their frustration. 6.

View Offer. Sin hardens people’s heart and makes them very selfish because it’s all about what they want. In life there are many adversaries and distractions that can take you off track so that your life misses the mark.

There is much speculation about the identity of the Antichrist. He may simply fall back through neglect by not praying, reading the Bible, and keeping his focus on living for God. Find powerful biblical teachings that will revolutionize your daily walk with the Lord in an immense way. The Bible doesn’t say specifically where the Antichrist will come from. Continual frustration shows you are not walking in your calling.

These kind of evil tendencies really create an environment God can no longer operate into our lives. He said: “Watch out! It’s important that you keep yourself mentally and physically active by participating in outreach events. Few churches preach or teach on the last days, particularly from the Old Testament. Furthermore, it’s all about engaging in sinful activities in order to please themselves instead of pleasing God.

The question is how can we care about others’ spiritual lives while we don’t even care about ours by the way we choose to live? It’s because of a sinful disposition that we have within us which arouses us to continue to do the very things that God hates.

One thing about disobedience is that it has massive implication because oftentimes the person who breaks God’s laws is not the only one who ends up paying the price. Amen” (2 Peter 3:17-18).

Nothing pleases and glorifies God more than when a sinner comes to Him with a broken and contrite heart concerning his sinfulness. In fact, we are in the huge mess we find ourselves in today because of Adam’s and Eve’s disobedience. It’s the worst form of consequence that can ever fall upon people since it determines where they will spend their eternity.

If a sinner can be sent to hell for all eternity, this clearly demonstrates God’s full hatred toward disobedience. It’s for our own good that these things are recorded because God in His love for us wants to protect us from the ugly consequences of rebelling against Him because to disobey Him is to willingly choose to walk in the will of Satan, thus walking out of God’s protection. Disobedience or rebellion against God is a sinful act that the Bible has plenty to say about.

But there is good news for us when we backslide. The same goes for warnings from the Bible. Thus the choices that we make determine who get to control our lives. The next time you begin feeling envious of what others have, take a close look at what God has blessed you with and say a short prayer of thanks.

Let’s say that you command your child to do something, and somehow he or she rebels against you how would you feel as parent? A man reaps what he sows.” Life is a matter of reaping what you sow. This passage speaks of the last days of the twelve tribes of Israel. God’s loving concern for backsliders is steadfast and sure.

When you choose to stay in your pajamas, eating playing games or watching movies all day, your relationships suffer, as does your waistline.

And mental consequences have to do with the fact that sin burdens the conscience of men, it corrupts and cripples people’s judgment, it has a strong hold on the memory, and fetter the free will. Your actions and priorities do affect those around you. Moreover, disobedience can inflict so much emotional pains on us to the extent that we become a slave to bitterness, anger, unforgiveness, and so forth. He wants us to be able to learn from the horrible mistakes that various people had made in the past by disobeying Him so that we don’t keep on repeating the same costly mistakes over and over again.

4:9-11). The devil is fully aware of God’s complete hatred toward disobedience since he’d been with God. Indeed, God has a reason that He allowed all these negative things to be recorded in His holy Word because of sin. We are called to put on the full armor of God and protect ourselves from the enemy and the ways of this world that counter Jesus and His mission. When we want to sin against Him for the sake of sinful pleasures or obtaining something outside of His perfect will, we tend to shift our entire focus away from the consequences that may come with the bad choices we’re about to make by believing somehow we are above them. Before he passes, he calls for his sons to gather together that he might tell them the things that will befall them in the last days (Genesis 49:1). Being lazy doesn’t necessarily limit itself to refusing to attend social functions. Consequently, we lose our spiritual appetites, and we become disengaged as well in the things of God.

One of the biggest challenges in life is to stay focused upon the assignment the Lord has appointed for us. Spiritual consequence relates to separation from God and union with Satan. Colossians 2:8 says, “See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition and the basic principles of the world rather than Christ.” We should pay special attention to principles of God, not the way our world tells us to move.

A big step you take to escape the tangles of sin is turning to Jesus, the only One who has defeated sin and death out of His deep love for us.

Therefore, the choice that we make can affect people around us either directly or indirectly in a big way. Thinking that certain things cannot happen to us will not alter the obvious reality that disobedience always brings consequences. #2 Fall Book Bundles: Click Here to view all our bundles and save up to 72%! He also warned His followers against false and hypocritical religious people and leaders: “Watch out that you are not deceived. Otherwise, that sinner will certainly die in his sins which equate to eternal damnation. They’ve got it all.

God in all His holiness and righteousness hates disobedience. When we do pay attention to these warnings and follow the rules and laws in place, we tend to live better and safer lives.
